If you’ve been following us on social media, or know us personally, you may have heard rumblings about our news. Last week we officially opened our doors to the Austin community and are excited to share our latest venture: NXT Cabinets.

Like many other businesses, last year during the COVID-19 pandemic there was a noticeable lag in many of our suppliers’ delivery times. After rounds of family talks (we are a family business after all!) We decided to take the opportunity to expand our offering and deliver superior cabinetry products to customers ourselves.

At NXT Cabinets we design, fabricate and install custom cabinets for all of your home or commercial project needs. From new homes to custom builds, home remodels and renovations, to business needs, we have you covered when it comes to quality, modern cabinets. Our simple, clean designs are ideal for achieving a look that is functional, yet timeless. We’re expanding our services beyond home construction with NEXT Custom Homes to offer the same quality products as big cabinet suppliers but at a local level.

Our goal is to serve homeowners and business owners alike to achieve the look they want, all with a personalized touch.

Meet The Team

NXT Cabinets is a family-owned and operated business, just like NEXT. Mike and Vanessa are co-owners, with Tim as Shop Manager leading the way and mentoring his younger brothers Joel and Sam as needed.

What’s Next

Getting this business off the ground has been a long process. We’ve been working hard for about a year to iron out all the kinks that come with a new business, to bring the highest-quality products to our customers. 

Last month we opened our doors and held a soft opening event for friends and family. It was great to see so many people come out and support us! We led guests on tours of the shop, educated visitors on the cabinet building process, and demonstrated a few simple cabinet builds. Our top-of-the-line industry machinery from CNC Factory helps us to create all the pieces we need and it’s amazing to see it in action.

We had a great turnout and can’t wait to host a big city-wide Open House event soon. Keep an eye on our Instagram page or Facebook for additional upcoming events and to see more of the shop in action.
