It seems like yesterday our world was turned upside down, but here we are, navigating life’s twists and turns…. again! This year we’ve seen many changes within our business and the family. Some exciting new additions (A new business! A grand baby!) some less-than-exciting losses (partnerships, projects) but everything comes with growth as they say.

For us, 2021 was a year of hustle. This year we needed to find balance and really hone our craft, exploring strategic, yet fulfilling business endeavors. Reflecting back, it was still a busy year, just in a different way.

We’re confident 2023 holds great potential for Next Custom Homes and NXT Cabinets. There are some very exciting projects on the line that we can’t talk about just yet… so you’ll just have to stay tuned! 

New Projects

This year we broke ground on a handful of residential luxury projects. These homes were hand selected for their unique footprints, modern design, or forward architectural engineering. Watch as these beautiful properties come to life over on Instagram as we move into 2023.

Camp Craft Rd
Located in the Westlake area of Austin, this modern, secluded residence features a unique design, including a guesthouse, outdoor living space, an infinity pool, and more. This stunning home will span over 6,700 sq. feet, a true Austin gem with unique views of downtown.

Westlake Drive
Overlooking the Austin Country Club golf course, this exciting project expands on an existing property to create an additional guest space, a welcome addition for the homeowners. This project features a beautiful balcony with wide views, overlooking the golf course.

City Park Rd
Our newest project, this spec home spans 5,500 sq. ft, features a pool, and overlooks a conservation easement. It also offers views of the Pennybacker Bridge in the distance. This home will be for sale in 2024.

Cary Drive A
This 3,500-square-foot modern family home located in the Allandale area featured a beautiful outdoor living space with a fireplace, and sliding glass windows overlooking the pool. We were excited to sell this home to a former client! They outgrew the home we renovated for them and found this one to be the perfect upgrade. Cary Drive B
For this project, we were contracted by a family to build their forever home, complete with individual kids’ bathrooms, a massive playroom, and a pool. 

Woodview
Sitting on a gorgeous plot of land with old large shaded trees, this 3,500 square foot home featured a custom Walnut staircase railing and our NXT Cabinetry work.  This was such a fun project for us to bring. both of our businesses together to achieve something great.
